1967 Shelby GT500CR Mustang
Ford Muscle shared this 1967 Shelby GT500CR Mustang from Classic Recreations with Procar by SCAT Rally seats inside.
This ’60s muscle car was customized with parting lines and matching weave patterns on each piece of the body for a clean appearance. Compared to an equivalent steel ’67 GT500, this ride is 600 pounds lighter. When powered by the optional 810-horsepower supercharged Aluminator Coyote engine, it offers supercar-level performance along with classic good looks.
Classic Recreations’ founder, Jason Engel, said:
With the cars we’ve built, they’re much quieter and more comfortable inside the vehicle. The second reason to build these is for us to innovate new products. And the third reason is to lose weight and improve the power-to-weight ratio.
